Greetings,

My name is Lina Lassiter. My sweet cousin, Darlett Robertson, lost her oldest daughter, Laysha Robertson on December 30th.

Our beloved Delaysha (Laysha) Robertson underwent cardiac surgery on December 14, 2021. She transitioned peacefully on Thursday, December 30th. As a family, we have witnessed miracle after miracle as Laysha battled her way through leukemia and several critical hospital visits throughout her life. Laysha had a sweet smile and spirit. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who inspired those around her by sharing her faith, words of wisdom, and encouragement. Regardless of what she was going through, she would always put the needs of others above her own.

Laysha was a single mother who doted over her son, Ryan. Although saddened that she could not attend her son's graduation ceremony in June 2021 due to a hospitalization, she was extremely proud of him and this accomplishment. While we are saddened that she will no longer be with us on this side, we are grateful that she is no longer suffering. We are thankful for her perseverance and the positive impact that she had on others.
