He made it a point to be the best grandpa he could be to his grandchildren. he never once hesitated in lending a helping hand to those in need.
“No words can describe the pain I feel in my heart for the sudden loss of my father in law/ my nino. To me he was more than just a father in law he was like a second dad. He was a noble and humble man who devoted himself to his family. He was always kind and told us to be kind and respectful to everyone regardless of there status in life. He raised two beautiful sons and I was blessed to have married his eldest son and I was able to give him a grandson whom he adored with all his hear the memories and love he gave my son I can never repay. It bring me great peace to know that i was there during his final days and hours because I know he left peacefully and surround by his family so in the end he knew he was loved and never alone. I will greatly miss him. -Daughter in law Justine Retana Gomez.

My mentor, my teacher is gone. But he leaves behind so much knowledge and wisdom. The most hardest working man I ever met! He was always there for me and would always give me the best advise in life. He taught me to never give up and to always give it my all in everything I do! One day I hope I get to be half the man he was. He is gone but never forgotten. I love you dad. - Adrian Gomez
Juan was a good person. He was a great father in law and a great grandpa to my son even though it was for a short time. He had a good heart, very hardworking and humble. He would always give good advice and he was always there for his family. Sadly he was gone too soon but I will always have a good memory of him. -Daughter in law Zulema
