Funeral Cost for Irene Barrios

Our beloved Irene Barrios recently passed on 10/21/21. Irene was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and godmother who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her devoted husband of over 50 years, along with four children, loving grandchildren.

 

Irene dedicated her life to… God and the charity of giving. Whether it was words of affirmation or actual gifts. She Always made you feel important and loved. She lived a simple life, but loved with all her heart. Her favorite topic of conversations always revolved her grandchildren.

 

Irene was a fighter and a cancer survivor. She lived through many obstacles, but always showed up with a smile on her face. To our surprise Irene had a brain aneurysm, and was found in the bathroom. She went into a coma, with a slim chance to come out. The doctor said if she did she’d be in a vegetative state. This placed her husband and children in a difficult situation. Irene decided that the burden was too much for her family to bear. She walked to heaven on her own the next day, as her family gathered in prayer at her bedside.

 

We are all devastated by the loss of this beautiful soul. We were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Irene the memorial she deserves, to honor her loving memory and say our last goodbyes.

 

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Irene’s funeral. Her husband is living on a retired income and can use the financial support to help give his wife a loving goodbye.
