Hi, my name is Nichole Lovely, and I'm raising money on behalf of the family of Deidre Ruiz-Allen, a high school student in Las Vegas whose life was tragically cut short on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Deidre had been permitted to spend the night at a friend's home, a family Deidre's father had known for quite a while. However, unbeknownst to Deidre's father, his daughter was permitted to attend a house party with her friend on Saturday, May 14th, where children were allowed to drink alcohol and smoke. Deidre, who has diabetes, and her friend returned to the friend's home in the wee morning and were subsequently described as highly intoxicated and throwing up. The friend's parents neither contacted Deidre's father nor called an ambulance. Instead, a decision was made to permit Deidre to sleep it off. Unfortunately, she died while passed out.

 

Not long ago, Deidre's mother succumbed to COVID-19. This tragedy adds to this family's sorrow and financial challenges.

 

Whether we are parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, nieces or nephews, we all have to acknowledge that CHILDREN make CHILD-LIKE decisions. No child, no family is immune to suffering a loss. Please help this family bury Deidre. Any donation is both needed and appreciated.
