Hi Everyone,

On November 17th, Alfonso was taken to the hospital where he was found unresponsive while in custody at Elmwood jail. During his stay at the hospital, they were never able to get any brain activity from Alfonso. As of Sunday November 21st, our beloved Alfonso was sadly pronounced brain dead.

Here is little about Alfonso. He is the youngest of seven children to Debbie and Paul Zabala. Alfonso was also a loving dad to three beautiful children Gabriella, Alfonso Jr. & Analise. Whenever he could, he always made sure to call them to let them know that he loved them so much and was always thinking about them. They meant the world to him. Alfonso was always a caring boy growing up but he also had his rebellious side as many children do.

We as a family have so many great memories of Alfonso. Our family is asking for any support to help pay for funeral costs. We understand budgets may be tight during the holidays but any donation would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate, a share would be helpful as well! Any left over amount will go to his children.
