On Friday, November 6th, Arturo’s life and my  family’s life changed forever.  On that day, my dad Arturo tested positive for COVID-19, and a few days later he was hospitalized.

On December 4th, his condition drastically worsened and he was intubated and placed in the ICU as he struggled to stay alive. In addition to COVID-19, he had kidney failure and had to receive dialysis every day.  He went from being a jolly, vibrant and hardworking 60-year-old to being on life support in a matter of a days.  

Unfortunately, after 12 days in the ICU, on Wednesday, December 16th, my dad Arturo passed away.
