Funeral Cost Assistance for Pam (Krafty) Whiteside
Donation protected
After a long and hard fight, our beloved Pamela Cram Whiteside (Krafty) slipped away quietly and peacefully around 1:00pm today. She was surrounded by her husband of 56 years, children and grandchildren.
While holding her hand her husband told her, "It was a long 56 year journey, and it wasn't always easy. But I'm glad I made it with you."
She was loved by her family, friends, and countless Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was known as Grandma Pam to many of us who she helped and encouraged selflessly.
She was always supportive of everyone. She wouldn't hesitate to take in stray animals and care for them. A few stray children too. She was always a caring and giving person.
Her struggle with her health began in November of 2019 when she suffered a fall that resulted in breaking both legs and needing physical therapy. Then she had several setbacks due to other health issues and her health has been declining along the way.
Her doctors found that she had gall stones in mid July, but it wasn't causing any pain. Her gall bladder started causing pain on August 6, so she was sent to the ER. It was removed on August 9. The surgery went as well as could be expected, but her gall bladder was gangrenous and was causing sepsis. With that on top of her other medical conditions, she was in critical condition since then.
Her family has been working hard since September to continue affording her care and have unfortunately run out of savings. With how quickly this progressed they were not able to plan for this unforseen loss.
I ask if you could please find it in your hearts to help Grandma Pam's family give her a proper send off. Any bit could help during this difficult time. Thank you all and may God bless you.
