On November 22nd, 2025, our world was shattered when our beloved brother, Shawn Brasher, was suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us at the age of 46. Shawn was a bright light in our family, known for his silly jokes, generous spirit, infectious laughter, affectionate gestures, and big blue eyes. To his siblings, he was our "Bro Bro" and "Gentle Giant," always ready with a kind word or a helping hand.
Our hearts are broken, and we are struggling to comprehend this immense tragedy. As we navigate this unimaginable time of grief, we are facing two critical, unexpected financial burdens. We are asking for help to cover the costs of Shawn's funeral and memorial services, including the casket, services, and burial, so we can give him the dignified service he deserves. Additionally, because his passing was so sudden and left many unanswered questions, we need a full private autopsy to understand exactly what happened. This specialized procedure is not covered by insurance and is crucial for our family's peace of mind and to protect any future victims of these circumstances.
Every single donation, no matter the size, will help to alleviate the heavy financial strain on our family and allow us to focus entirely on mourning and healing. We will forever remember Shawn for his generosity and kindness towards people and animals, and how he would thank veterans for their service every time he met one. He was, and always will be, loved and missed fiercely.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion and generosity during our darkest time. If you are unable to donate, please help us by sharing this campaign with your network. Your thoughts, prayers, and support mean so much to our family.
With eternal gratitude,
The Brasher, Breckenridge, and Walker Family
