Hello everyone, my name is Curtis Ray Moore. I am the son of Cheryl Ann Moore, and with deep sadness, I have to say that my mother passed away on August 10th, 2025. She is learning how to fly today.
Our family is in need of help for the cost of funeral expenses. Forgive us for even asking.
For those who do not know Cheryl, she is the most peaceful, spiritual woman. She has the best advice and the biggest shoulders a 5ft woman can have to cry on. The softest most peaceful voice and calming nature.
She would play with my sister and me in nature, hide and seek, for us military peeps, "ambush"; hosted family gatherings; and was just so humble to every human soul and creature blessed to cross paths with her.
Her favorite Disney princess was Cinderella. She wore no makeup, and the prettiest dresses and PJs to add to her natural beauty.
Her favorite song was "Stairway to Heaven."
She was also a phone operator for 30 years, keeping landlines open and plugging in families to connect. She has brought me, my sister, and my father to Jesus Christ. And the ones we will not know about until we are in heaven. Her heart was so big and powerful there is no doubt that she has touched many lives in her journey.
What a mother is to be and above and beyond motherhood. She and Dad have been together 51 years and longer. High school sweethearts.
We are fundraising to cover the funeral expenses for Cheryl Moore.
