Hello everyone, I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of the Clancy family to help raise money to pay for funeral arrangements of Sean Clancy. Sean was fun, loving, adventurous, and could light up any room he walked in. Sean made himself well-known in New Jersey and surrounding communities as a talented vocalist performing in both theater, classical, and church organizations. He was a dedicated music teacher at Leeds Avenue School in Pleasantville, NJ teaching students from Kindergarten to 5th grade general music and choir. He worked with the Cinnaminson High School Marching Band for 9 years as Color Guard Instructor and Assistant Band Director, designing shows and teaching guard work to many students over the years. He was a HUGE animal lover and leaves behind his well-known, well-loved (and spoiled) cat, Alonzo. Sean was also a huge advocate for many causes but particularly supported the LGBTQIA+ community. Unfortunately, he had an untimely and incredibly unexpected passing this week leaving behind his family including his mother Carrie, brother Brian, sister-in-law Danyelle, nephew Conan, aunt Stella, grandmother Leona, uncle Billy, and multiple communities around New Jersey in shock. I would like to help the family pay for all funeral expenses. Any money that is left after the cost of funeral arrangements will be donated to AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) and NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) on behalf of Sean and his family. For anyone who would like, the family would also appreciate donations to LGBTQIA+ causes as that was a huge part of Sean's life.
This fundraiser was created by Sean's Cinnaminson High School Marching Band family including Deb Knisely, Katie Bove, Matt Amato, all of our Band Booster Parents, and our amazingly talented students!
