Funeral Arrangements for Presley Skye Grider
On August 3rd 2020 I was scheduled for a c-section at 11:45 am to welcome our Rainbow Baby Presley Skye Grider. As many of you already know we lost our son Finley Gauge 4 years ago and even though we were hesitant & worried to have another, we were so excited to finally bring home a beautiful little girl. When I arrived at Cox Hospital yesterday, a wave of emotions came over me & brought me back to those moments with Finley. When they took me to my room I realized it was the exact room 4 years ago I was in when we lost Finley, so naturally I became even more emotional. When the nurses came into talk with me they knew something was wrong. I explained why I was so upset and distraught, so they quickly hooked the monitors up in order to reassure me everything was okay with Presley and she would be arriving healthy very soon. After about 10 minutes they still could not find her heartbeat and brought in the ultrasound & my Doctor to find it. It is with a heavy heart and tear filled eyes that at some point early Monday morning that Presley's heart quit beating. She was 6lbs 14ozs, 19 inches long, and as perfect as they come. The Doctor said there was no rhyme or reason as to what happened because nothing was wrong and I did everything right. Once again, we are now left with broken hearts, an empty crib, and tons of baby girls clothes. We were expecting to bring home our baby girl to share with our handsome son Morgan, & now are searching for ways to bury our precious girl next to her older brother Finley. The last thing we want is to ask for help in burying our child but we are unexpectedly left with the financial responsibility and have no where to turn. If you can find it in your heart to please help us in this time of need we would be more than appreciative than words could express. In addition we could use all the uplifting thoughts and prayers we can get, especially for our son Morgan who doesn't understand why two perfectly healthy children couldn't come home to him. Thank you all in advance for everything, there truly are no words.
With love,
Brad, Rachael, & Morgan
