Three months ago, the unimaginable happened. My sister and I lost our father to a battle with liver cancer. At the time, we couldn’t imagine how life could get any worse. Last night, the unimaginable happened again. Our beautiful and strong mother passed away unexpectedly. There aren’t any words to describe the pain we’re feeling right now. In just 3 months, we lost the two most important people in our world.

My mother left this world with no life insurance or a savings account to help pay for funeral expenses. Asking for help is such a hard thing for us to have to do. Especially after asking help from everyone just three months ago. The two of us are alone now. Together, we will get through this emotionally, as hard as that is to envision. However, we want to give our mom at least a proper goodbye. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever known. She helped every person who crossed her path. She loved those in her life with a fierceness unparalleled. So now we’re asking for others to help her. Anything is appreciated and we thank everyone who can.
