Our 18-year-old niece, Melisa and her unborn child, were tragically killed in a car accident Saturday night (07/02/22) when a drunk driver hit the car where she was a passenger.

 

We are all devastated by the loss of Melisa and unprepared for the high funeral cost. However, we want to give Melissa the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and provide all of her friends and family the ability to say our last goodbyes. After her funeral service in Santa Maria, she will be transported back to Minden, NV, where she will be buried.

 

We are asking for donations to help our sister, Gloria, cover the cost of Melisa’s funeral. We need to raise $10,500 for all associated funeral service costs and transport back to Nevada. This amount does not include the cost of the burial plot in Nevada.  We estimate the plot to cost up to $2,000, in addition to the funeral costs. Bringing the total cost to $12,500.
