Funeral Arrangements for Jodi Lee VanWagner
Donation protected
Jodi Lee VanWagner (nee Gaudreau) tragically passed away in a car accident on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was a young mother and leaves behind four children; her three boys, Max, Gabe, and Tucker and her baby girl Layla.
Jodi's heart was huge and she would help anyone that asked. Her smile would light up a room, and her laugh was contagious. She was stubborn and bullheaded and if she was mad, you knew it! Jodi felt life, and it was beautiful for us all to watch her live it, and be part of her life.
Jodi was not only my niece, but also my God Daughter. She was a sweet child and loved by many. Jodi was born in Eagle River, lived in several places in Wisconsin and Michigan, but considered Iron River her hometown. Because she lived in many places, she has friends in many states.
We appreciate all the love and friendship given to Jodi over her life. Jodi did not have means in reserve to manage her funeral expenses. We are asking for anyone who wishes to contribute to Jodi's funeral costs, to do so here. I will use these funds to lay her to rest with her mom. Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron River, MI is taking care of Jodi. More information will be coming when arrangements are finalized.
The owners of the bar Jodi worked at is pulling together a Celebration of Life and a fund raiser. The money raised, along with money from this GoFundMe, that isn't used for her burial expenses will be put into the trust fund for the children.
Thank you all for whatever you feel you can contribute, and if you are unable to contribute, we thank you for prayers for the children and her family.
God Bless Jodi, and hold her in his hands. We surround Jodi's children with the light of love, and we hold each other tight in life that we might remember why we have the pain when we lose someone we love.
Thank you again.
Love,
Shawn & Mike Ribble
