Friends and family, after a three year battle with stage four cancer Calvin Choe passed away on October 3rd, 2021

 

Before Calvin passed he told his mother he wished to have a traditional funeral. All donations will go towards that wish:

The fundraiser goal is the average cost of funeral services in Nevada, but will be adjusted as more concrete pricing information is obtained (see updated information below). The burial will take place in approximately 1-2 weeks. Donations would be appreciated ASAP to accommodate a timely burial. Below is a short description of Calvin's story and his battle with cancer.

 

After being diagnosed with small cell carcinoma at the age of 34 and eventually metastatic cancer that spread to his pancreas and liver, Calvin fought the good fight, enduring four years of chemotherapy and numerous health complications as a result of his cancer.

 

His loving fiancé Dezra, stayed by his side and helped care for Calvin, along with his mother, step-father and brothers Dexxter, Foxx and Maxx. 

 

Calvin found joy in caring for animals, like his two kittens. He loved good food, especially sushi. Calvin also enjoyed photography, hiking, playing board games and Pokemon Go. 

 

Calvin will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh and his love for living each moment to the fullest. His courage, love and humor through great adversity will continue to inspire his family and friends long after his passing.
