Funeral Arrangements for Avelardo Gallegos

On Friday, December 30th Avelardo "Chon" Gallegos passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his home state of Texas. Chon was a father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, and friend to many.

Chon Gallegos was born on June 22nd, 1964 in Crystal City, Texas. He spent many of his years living in Minnesota. Later in his life, he spent time between Texas and Minnesota enjoying the company of family and friends. Chon loved not only to laugh but to brighten others' days through his humor and charismatic attitude. He was always able to bring a smile into any situation and was the type of person to give until there was nothing left. He was selfless beyond measure and showed his love in so many ways. To know him was to truly admire his tenacity and grit for life. Chon's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
