On February 24,2019 , at 3:05pm my dad and I watched one of God’s most precious angels take her last breath ! My beautiful MAMA! In November of 2018 mom started to take ill ! December of 2018 mom was diagnosed with Early onset Alzheimer’s dementia! Appointments after appointments we fought to find the source of moms anorexia, pain , and various other acute symptoms that were taking surface ! January 2019 mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Uterine Cancer ! Upon her definitive diagnosis we also were informed that her cancer had spread to her lungs, abdomen, liver , and various other areas in her body ! We were too late ! Our family was ready to fight ! My mom was ready to FIGHT ! Even though my mom was devastated and heartbroken she would always say , “ I’m going to fight this , I have to be here for my babies” (grandchildren). My mama loved her grandchildren ! During the course of her fight my mom received 3 beautiful grand babies including the first born of myself ! It was miraculous ! My mom was scheduled for chemotherapy , yet she succumbed to her illness before we could get her treatment! Mom went into renal failure and was transported by ambulance to Memphis ! Our beloved angel laid up in Methodist University for 5 days ! Doctors had given up on her but her family stayed by her side every step of the way ! After the 3rd day mom was unresponsive and placed on hospice , we decided to fight to get my mom home ! My mom wanted to be home with family ! On Sunday February 24,2019 my mom finally made it home around her family ! Mom gave up her fight 1 hour after her return home in her bed in the arms of myself and in the presence of the love of her life (my DAD) ! My mom was the heart of everyone that knew her ! Even knowing she had cancer she continued being the strength of our family !Even through cancer mom laughed , loved , and danced harder than she ever has ! To know her was to love her ! I’ve never met someone with such a beautiful heart !! Our sweet lady fought as hard as she could to beat cancer and get home ! Unfortunately , due to natural life hardships, my mom did not have life/burial insurance and our family was not prepared for her passing ! ANYTHING WILL HELP! A dollar donation even makes a difference! We are in need of $5,000 by February 7,2019 for payment to Redmond funeral home in Greenville,Ms. My mom loved so hard and did not deserve what she went through but it was Gods will that she go with him ! If you could help please share and donate so that we can properly lay our beautiful angel to rest ! Thank you so much in advance for your help , love , prayers , and support!
