Funeral and Support for Shell Family

We’re sending this out to provide information for service: Memorial will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:00am. New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182. Services will be held outside in consideration of social distancing, tents will be provided at graveside. There will be a link shared for live-streaming & posted prior. We welcome all who can attend to help us remember our dear brother. Dear friends, our brother Lewis Shell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2020. He loved the Lord supremely, the saints, family, & friends. Our brother was a precious believer, living a life as a faithful servant of the Lord and shepherd to many. Our brother Lewis's life was a pattern of God's faithful love for the Body, the church. 

Early this year, Lewis was diagnosed with cancer and fought it aggressively, suffering pneumonia and an underlying lung condition, pulmonary fibrosis. This ongoing battle resulted in irreversible damage to his lungs. After several hospital stays he tried to be positive and trust in God's perfect plan. His faith in the Lord and love of his wife & family kept him fighting the  good fight. He will forever be missed.
