Help Us Take Guillermo Home to Nicaragua

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking loss of our beloved friend, brother, father, and family member, Guillermo Otoniel Castillo Blandón.

On August 22, 2026, Guillermo tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident near New London, Minnesota, USA. His death was sudden and devastating, leaving his family, friends, and loved ones struggling to understand how someone who was with us just days ago could be gone so unexpectedly.

Guillermo was more than a friend to many of us. He was the kind of person who became family. He was loving, hardworking, funny, and always willing to share a conversation, a laugh, or a moment with the people around him. His presence touched many lives, and his absence has left an enormous emptiness.

Guillermo leaves behind his children, loved ones, and family in Nicaragua who are now facing the unimaginable pain of losing him from so far away. Our greatest wish is to give him a proper farewell and take him home to Nicaragua, where his family can say their final goodbye.

We are asking for help with the funeral expenses and the cost of repatriating Guillermo’s remains to Nicaragua. These expenses are overwhelming for his family during an already unbearable time.
