Here is my brother n laws family history. Kekoa Kahahane. The kahahane family roots date back to the early 1920’s. Mildred and George Kahahane began their lives together in Lahaina where they resided in the home that was lost in the recent Maui fire. Over the years the family grew and built their homes on this family property. Kekoa kahahane was one of them. Although he eventually moved to the mainland with his family this was his childhood that perished in the fire. Not only did they all lose their families property and aunt perished in the fire .All of his family still lives in Lahaina.
