Jon Thomas Mazurek passed away unexpectedly on November 1st, 2025, at age 34. Jon Thomas was having headaches and dizzy spells and was rushed to the hospital. They found that he had a major stroke and a blood clot that traveled to his brain. The doctor was able to remove the blood clot successfully; however, there was too much swelling in the brain, and the decision was made to discontinue life support due to the poor prognosis and lack of quality of life. The outcome of having another surgery would not reverse the damage already done. He was a loving father, partner, son, family member, and community member. He leaves behind the love of his life of 8 years Brittany, and their son Jon Wayne, who is only 6 years old. Unfortunately, Jon Thomas did not have a life insurance policy, so all expenses will need to be paid out of pocket by the family. Any funding raised through this fundraiser will be used for funeral expenses, and any funds exceeding the cost of the funeral, burial, and other related expenses will be split between living expenses for his partner and his son, as well as a college fund to be established for Jon Wayne's future.
