Funeral and Memorial of Simeon Arciaga

With a heavy heart, I write this story. Early morning on Wednesday, August 18, I was given the news about the sudden loss of my dad, Simeon Arciaga. Unfortunately, our family is still waiting for the results as to what might have caused his death. To lose a loved one is heartbreaking, but not knowing the exact reason is even more devastating.

I loved my papa. I’m his oldest out of two kids. He was very quiet and hardly spoke any words, but he had his ways of showing how much he cared for me and my brother, Calvin. He was a hard-working person having worked in the fields for many years, and he made sure that there was always food on the table, provided for us, and gave us whatever little he had. My dad also had a great sense of humor and would make jokes at family gatherings. I will definitely miss him making us laugh and I will surely miss hearing his laughter now that he is gone.

As our family waits for the report, we are trying to move forward with his funeral arrangements. We are kindly asking for some assistance during this difficult time. Your support and prayers for our family are greatly appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
