Funeral and memorial of Claire Pennell

On 30th May 2025, our mum, Claire Pennell, unfortunately passed away at the Leicester Royal Infirmary after a short illness. It was unexpected and a complete shock to all who knew her.

She worked as a Business and Operations Manager for Snowsport England and absolutely adored her job. Whilst she never managed to ski or snowboard (despite the many attempts by members to get her on the slopes), she never let that get in the way of her love for the role. She was kind and thoughtful to everyone she met.

As her passing was so unexpected, there was no funeral plan or arrangements in place. All funds will go directly towards funeral and memorial expenses, and to support the family with associated costs.

Any donations in excess of the funeral and memorial costs will be donated to the British Heart Foundation — a charity close to our mum’s heart after our father passed away from a heart condition in 2011.

Any donations toward this would be hugely appreciated.
