Funeral and Memorial for Shelley Parkin Holmes

Hi my name is Josie Hudson and I am writing this through heartache today to let people know that on Tuesday the 12th of July 2022, my best friend of 27 years Shelley Parkin Holmes passed away peacefully at Airedale Hospital. Shelley was very brave and battled pneumonia and sepsis for four weeks then lost her battle to the pneumonia and sepsis at the young age of just 47.

Shelley has left behind five beautiful girls Amy, Amber,Rhi, Niamh and Lyla who now have been left to pick up the pieces, trying to hold

it altogether trying to sort everything out to try give their mum the best send off.

For those who all knew Shelley knew she was an amazing lady/mother/grandmother/best friend and friend. Shelley would do anything for anyone and would of given anyone her last penny if you needed it even though Shelley had gone through some tough deals through her life, shelley always got through it with determination as she was a strong woman.

Throughout our years of being best friends we have laughed till we cried/ cried and hugged each other and made beautiful memories that will stay me forever.

I am writing this to try help her children find the finance to be able too pay for their mum's funeral and Memorial and that the girls can give Shelley a service /memorial she deserves so they can honour Shelley's memory and also we all can say our last goodbyes.

If I could ask anyone to please consider donating as any amount will truly help these girls out during this difficult time and would also ease some pain and pressure these girls are going through at this sad moment in time.
