Cory G. Thackara, left our lives unexpectedly at the young age of 29 on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at his Orange Twp. home.
As Cory's Godmother, I am raising funds to help defer the costs of his funeral services for his family. Cory meant so much to all of his friends and family. He was a member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church, he was also a member of the Montour Twp. Fire Co. and the Orangeville Fire Co. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, bull riding, riding ATV, horseback riding, and being with his family and friends. He enjoyed helping others in any way he could and was always giving a lending hand. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Penn State football fan.
He was simply an amazing young man who will always live on in our hearts.
Cory's family is appreciative of any donation you would be willing to make. As many of you already know a time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Jennifer Parks Snyder, officiating.
My mother, Karen Brenchley (Cory's mother's Aunt) has volunteered to be the beneficiary of all raised funds which will go directly to Thomas O’Brien (Cory’s Grandfather) who is in charge of expenses for Cory’s funeral services and any donations made on behalf of Cory.
