Funeral and Memorial for Angel
Donation protected
In loving memory of Angel Moreno. Angel was kind, positive, and passionate about the outdoors. He was a graduate of the Kentridge class of 2016, went on as a sophomore at Green River Community College and was the President of the Green River Natural Resources Club.
Angel felt a profound connection with nature and the outdoors. During a backpacking excursion from October 3rd to the 4th to Black Peak in the North Cascades, with his friend Jacob, Angel suffered a tragic and fatal accident around noon on the second day at 8800 feet, close to the peak.
He passed away without suffering while doing what he loved most in the serenity and beauty of the North cascades. His friend Jacob, quoted Angel saying it was one of the best hikes of his life.
In honor of Angel, our family would like to collect money in his name, to cover funeral costs and a memorial for the extraordinary positive and compassionate life Angel led.
We love you, Angel.
