Funeral and Memorial Expenses for Max Johnson

The overwhelming feelings you get when you hear of a sudden passing are often too much to bear. The news we received this morning flooded us and our community with those exact feelings. 

As we mourn the loss of our colleague and friend, we would like to offer our endless support and condolences to his family and loved ones by creating this GoFundMe to try and help alleviate any ounce of stress or financial burden during this immensely difficult time.

On Wednesday, March 29th, 2023, a young vibrant soul was taken far too soon after being involved in a tragically fatal motorcycle accident in Colorado Springs while on his way home. Max was only 19 years old with his whole life ahead of him, and the circumstances surrounding his passing are truly heartbreaking and unfathomable.

Max was a loving son, brother, colleague and friend to so many. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, you’d know he was always joking and ready to make you laugh. He was silly and bright and had so much more to experience. He had a passion for dirt bikes, enjoyed working on cars and overall, just fulfilling his daily responsibilities as an Assistant in Parks within the Cherokee Metropolitan District.

Maxs’ sudden passing has come as a shock to all who knew him. We know that funeral expenses are often difficult and we hope that this page can help to slightly ease that burden on his family during this time. Any form of donation will be greatly appreciated to provide them financial support as they navigate this tragic loss.
