Many have asked how they can help. This fundraiser was created to help ease the financial burden as the family attempts to cover his funeral expenses. Emmett's ongoing terminal illness has put a financial burden on his family.

Emmett is a beloved member of many sports communities, especially in the DC area. Known for his guard skills and leadership on the court, Emmett also coached for many, many years and helped with the growth and development of many others on and off the court. Outside of sports, Emmett loves spending time with his family and many dedicated friends.
