Consistency and Discipline. Those were the words Joseph lived by. As a kid, Joseph’s goal in life was to help others achieve their dreams through fitness. Joseph had a passion and hunger to build an empire in his 20’s so that later on in life he could spend his time with family. He accomplished so much at the young age of 23 but Joseph’s life was cut short after battling many years with medical conditions centered on high platelet counts, blood clots, brain hemorrhage, and other underlying medical conditions.
Joseph was the type of person that wanted for those around him to be happy. He didn’t want to worry others so he would hide his sorrows. He would tell us, “just wait and see. I will take care of you guys for the rest of your life” when in fact what we truly wanted was for his guaranteed happiness and health.
Joseph was a go getter. At the age of 15 he started working and a few years later he started doing personal training at home. He slowly started buying his machines and equipment and worked from the ground up. He would spend countless hours studying for his certifications, going over sale pitches, seeking marketing knowledge, videography and editing amongst other things to make sure that he was providing the best service possible. You name it and Joseph did it to ensure that he was on the right track. He was so wise beyond his years and that’s why people gravitated towards him. Joseph was and still is an inspiration for all ages.
In the beginning of 2021 he opened up his own facility (Royalty Fitness) and business was booming to the point where he was able to recruit an additional trainer to assist him at the gym. Joseph still had so many dreams and even started to venture out into different forms of investments. That kid never stayed still. He would wake up at 4am to head to his gym, trained his clients (whom he considered his friends and even family), went to train at the gym for himself, came home and studied or worked on self development/meditation. This was his routine which he would start up again the very next day.
Joseph had been hospitalized for weeks at a time within the last 3 years. Our father had passed from a heart attack due to blood clots and we later came to find out that Joseph inherited the same condition which had lead to our father’s demise. Joseph was last admitted to the hospital on December 12th where he stayed to complete medical procedures and surgeries. Joseph passed away on December 26th.
We could go on for days talking about Joseph, his achievements, how much we loved and were inspired by him but all in all we just want to share how much Joseph was loved and endeared. Even though his life ended short he touched so many individuals which is why this situation is so tough. Donations will go to Joseph’s funeral services, medical bills and other additional expenses centered around Joseph.
