Funeral and Living costs for Lee and Susie Blake

Hello, I am Andrea and I would like to share this in hopes of finding some extra help for my parents.

My dad is at home in hospice and is most likely in his final days of life.

In the Fall, Dad started having some strange symptoms and after many trips to the doctor, sadly not much was solved. About 2 months ago, he had a major stroke that put him in the hospital for almost 8 weeks. After all attempts to help him recover, (surgery, physical therapy and time) he just wasn't getting better. And all he wanted was to come home.

He came home on Friday. After some initial anxiety over the move, he has been more comfortable and just sleeping for days. Hospice nurses let us know that this means he is in his final days.

As my parents were both on Social Security, they have no savings for funeral costs or extra funds once my dads SSI payments are no longer included in their monthly budget. So for both the funeral expenses and so that my mom can stay in her home while she grieves, we are asking for some help.
