Derek Cornell was loved by so many and this tragedy should have never happened. Derek was killed doing what he loved, towing. Derek was always fun to be around and always laughing and smiling. Derek would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back if you needed it. Derek was a loving husband, father, brother, son. and uncle and friend to many. Derek devoted his life to his family, towing, and the Goldfield Volunteer Fire Department. Any help the family can get will be greatly appreciated and helpful. Derek was my best friend and considered a second father to my children. Once the funds are collected they will be transferred to his wife Keyna  and used to help cover funeral costs and life expenses until they can get back on their feet.
