Funeral and Investigation costs for Kassandra

Hi. My name is Karie Miller. My daughter, Kassandra Schumacher, just turned 28 on the 5th of April. On April 19th, I received a phone call from the LA County Sherriff's department informing me that her body had been found on April 12th by a couple of hikers on a trail in the wooded area of Val Verde, CA. How she got there is still under investigation, and her death is also very suspicious. Where she was found is located 3 hours away from our home. There was no sign of trauma to her. Anyone that knows her, knows that she did not drive and never had.  Someone brought her there. Our local P.D. in Farmersville is refusing to investigate because her body was found in a different county, even though the people that are responsible for her death live here! We are pretty certain that we know the person(s) responsible for her death but if there is no investigation, how can there be any justice for her? Along with the costs for her body to be returned to us and the funeral arrangements, this will cost way more than we can afford even with it being done the cheapest way possible. So I am fundraising not only for her funeral/memorial/burial costs but also for the costs of an investigator/ attorneys fees and a REWARD for information which brings an arrest and conviction of her killer(s).

Kassie was a bright and beautiful young woman who made friends very easily. She had so much life left to live. She was taken from this world way too soon.
