Funeral and hospital expenses for overseas student

I am Karamveer Kaur, wife of late Ramanpreet Singh.  He moved to Canada 8 months ago and was just 23 years old. On 21st April, his heartbeat stopped working, he had to be immediately taken to the hospital but the doctors could not save his life. He was here without any medical insurance. We have still not received his body and his funeral is scheduled on 27th April. The total expenses of his funeral and medical expenses count to approximately CAD$10,000. Due to COVID-19, his family members are unable to come here, his brother and I alone are taking up all the responsibility of his funeral. I am a student here and I am unable to arrange this big amount of money.  I cannot bring him back, the least I can do is bid him farewell for the last time. Neither can we send his body to India, nor can his family come here so I humbly request you all to help me bid farewell to Ramanpreet.

ਮੈਂ ਮਰਹੂਮ ਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਕਰਮਵੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਹਾਂ। ਉਹ 8 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ 23 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ। 21 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਧੜਕਣ ਨੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਣਾ ਪਿਆ ਪਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਹ ਇਥੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਡਾਕਟਰੀ ਬੀਮੇ ਦੇ ਸੀ ।ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ 27 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਕਟਰੀ ਖਰਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਲ ਖਰਚੇ ਲਗਭਗ CAD $ 10,000 ਤੱਕ ਗਿਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਮਰੱਥ ਹਨ, ਉਸਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਹੀ ਉਸਦੇ ਅੰਤਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਰਿਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਕਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਮਰੱਥ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਸਕਦੀ ਪਰ ਘੱਟ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੇਜ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਆ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇ।
