Our parents John and Tanya Poteat both died in a house fire, and our family is facing a loss that has changed our lives forever.

They helped shape our lives, gave us love and guidance, and provided us with a place to call home. Losing them so suddenly is something our family is still trying to process, and the pain of this tragedy is hard to put into words.

This fundraiser is to help with the necessary costs we are now facing, including funeral expenses and rebuilding the home after the fire. The support we receive will help ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time and allow our family the space to grieve and heal.
