Funeral and final expenses for Terri Braun

Hello, my name is Dave. I’m raising funds for my wife’s final expenses. Terri was an amazing person who touched so many people. She was kind and compassionate and believed in the power of friendship and the importance of helping others. She spent her life reaching out to those in need, one person and one dog at a time. She was always there for her friends, offering a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on whenever they needed it. She never turned away from someone in need, no matter how difficult the situation. And she opened her heart, and her home, to one rescue dog at a time. Terri was a very vocal supporter of the English Springer Rescue, ESRA.

In March of this year, Terri had trouble swallowing and was in the hospital for 10 days. After several scans and tests, she was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer. Because the cancerous mass had pushed through the Trachea, surgery was not an option. She pushed through Chemo and radiation for 5+ weeks in pain every day. She completed those treatments on 7/5/23. Four days later, the mass started bleeding and she passed away at home.

We were married for 46 years. I’ve struggled to write this. Terri was such a remarkable person who touched so many people. We’ve run through our savings as I’ve been recovering from spine surgery for the last year and a half.

I am asking for donations to help with the funeral costs, medical bills and other bills. If anything is over the goal after paying these, I will use extra to help me as I rehab from spine surgery.
