So, Monday night, a tragic event occured  unfathomable to all...we lost two young men that night. Dakota John was one of those men.  He was a light source for many.  A son, a Father, a big brother, a nephew, cousin and friend to all.  He is irreplaceable  This was beyond anyone's imagination, and a nightmare. The family is asking for help with funeral and other expenses. Anything at all is appreciated.  This family has done so much for so many.

Fond du Lac County sheriff's officials say the rescue search for two men who are missing after they were thrown from a canoe in the choppy waters of Lake Winnebago is now a recovery effort

A rescue search for two men who are missing after they were thrown from a canoe in the choppy waters of Lake Winnebago is now a recovery effort, the Fond du Lac County sheriff said Tuesday.

The men were identified Tuesday night as 21-year-old Dakota Goldapske and 21-year-old Michael Gohde, both from Fond du Lac.
