Penny's Piggybank

Penny has spent most of her life battling her health. Over the last 2.5 years, she has been followed by 15 different specialists, admitted to the hospital over 20 times, and had 8 surgeries.

Even with all of this, she has been upbeat and has brought joy to those around her. She loves to give hugs, laugh with her brother Emerson, and play with animals.

About a month ago, her parents, Wendel and Chanel, started noticing changes. Penny began to have difficulty keeping her eyes open and was admitted to the hospital the next day. An MRI was performed, and they discovered that she’d lost a significant amount of brain volume in just three months. With the loss rate, her neurologist expected Penny to live about 6 more months. He said this was the worst-case scenario they could have had, and the cause is still unknown.

I have started this GoFundMe to help her parents pay for funeral and burial services and other expenses that might arise. I know we can meet this goal and help support them during their time of grief. I know they would be very grateful for any help. Thank you.
