On Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, United States Navy Seabee, Petty Officer, Builder Second Class, Brandon Salyers, tragically ended his own life. He served honorably and he was most proud of his military service for himself and his wife. Honor, courage and commitment were the family ideals they lived by.

The cost of military suicide to our nation is too high, but the cost to his family, his wife and stepson, is immeasurable. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the extended family during this time, Brandon's wife, Nikkita Salyers, needs swift help with funeral and burial expenses in these unexpected and unprecedented times.

We want to thank the Navy units of both Nikkita and her Husband, as well as extended family and community in coming together for her aid.

 

 

 

During this time Nikkita does ask for privacy of her family, her Naval station and the community. Please help lift the burden of this wonderful Navy family in their very tragic time of need.
