Funeral and Burial Expenses for Donnie Abner

In November, my family lost a great woman, my Granny Reva Abner. She was laid to rest with my Papaw, Oscar Abner, who passed in 2001. Now, just two months later, we lost her youngest baby boy, my Uncle Donnie Abner (Donald W. Abner).   Donnie was brutally murdered by a friend(Melissa Wolke) of his early Friday morning. She violently attacked him alongside her dog, who attacked by her command. When police arrived she had to be tased and when she refused to call off the dog, they had to shoot it to get to him, however it was too late.  Losing my Granny was hard for my family, and then crushed by this horrible tragedy, especially his children, Josh and Summer, and siblings, Stevie and Ronda.   Now, not only are Josh and Summer trying to process this devastating loss from such an unexpected tragedy, they’re also having to carry the weight of funeral arrangements and expenses. We cannot let them carry it alone.  The funeral home needs $3,500 up front to even do the funeral, then the rest can be paid after. His body was just released from Frankfort, so arrangements will be made soon. Let’s help them get him laid to rest alongside his mom and dad in Sandgap Kentucky.  News Article on Attack
