On June 2, Marvin Cua Sapon was gunned down by the LAPD in a Koreatown parking lot. He was 23 years old. We seek the public’s support in paying for funeral expenses as well as a civil rights attorney for the family.

 

Marvin was a soft-spoken young man with an easy smile and a keen sense of humor, even during the darkest times. He was an extraordinarily talented artist who hoped to one day pursue a creative career. Marvin was a beloved son, brother, and friend who was taken from us too soon. He will not be forgotten.

 

We are trying to raise $7,500 to cover the funeral expenses for Marvin's grieving family. Any funds above $7,500 will be used to retain legal counsel so they can seek justice for Marvin.
