My brother-in-law, Ryan, lost his life tragically in a vehicle accident on November 26, 2019. The tragedy was a shock to us all. He was just 35 years old and about to celebrate his 36th birthday on December 30.
Ryan was a thoughtful and wonderful son, a supportive brother, and an amazing uncle to my 2 boys, Isaac and Jacob. Upon his death, our family learned that he is also loved and treasured by many, many friends. He makes friends easily and made every effort to keep them. Throughout the years, with his move to Delaware for college and job and residence changes, he moved farther away from his family in MD but fostered friendships with people that would eventually become his second family.
It’s hard to describe Ryan with one word - he was many things to many people. He led a life filled with adventures, he laughed a lot, he viewed the world with pragmatic and appreciative eyes, and he did it all in that special Ryan fashion, touching and changing people he met along the way.
He loved playing poker, spent hours on the golf course, didn’t mind being in the kitchen and trying out new dishes, well-read, a music aficionado, supported the Orioles, and was kinda-somewhat of a Ravens fan.
His sudden death has overwhelmed his family with funeral and burial expenses, in particular, having him transported from Delaware to Maryland, financing the funeral service, and purchasing a cemetery plot. We would appreciate any donations you can give to support Ryan’s funeral costs and ease the financial burdens that came with his sudden passing.
Update: The funds will be withdrawn by myself and transferred to Cristina Ferrer to pay for the funeral costs.
