Hello, my name is Shelby Case, posting on behalf of funeral expenses for Layn Joseph Case, who passed away on January 1, 2025, in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I am reaching out to ask for any donations that might help lessen the deep emotional and mental load we are all currently experiencing.

Layn was 24 years old with his whole life ahead of him. He loved football, his friends, and his family, to name a few. Nobody could have prepared us for this nightmare we are stuck in, and no parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, grandparent, cousin, or friend should have to bury a loved one so young. He was the most beautiful, kind soul, a person whose smile and infectious personality lit up every room he entered. He will be loved, missed, and remembered by the many people he encountered and the hearts he touched.
