For those of you that don't know me, my name is Sheryl Straub. I am an Teacher's Assistant for the Monroe Public School System and recently my son, Steven Doty, 27, went missing. On Saturday November 5th he was found dead in a drainage ditch located near the Monroe Administration Building.
For those of you that knew Steven you knew how kind hearted, honest, and genuine of a person that he was. He always made time for anyone who needed a friend, and was there to lend an ear or even a helping hand.
Our family created this as we are in desperate need of help to raise as much funds as possible to cover funeral expenses. Funeral Arraingements have yet to be made, due to unexpected time of death, but all donations are needed as soon as possible.
I've been struggling to survive on such a limited income as is, even having to file bankruptcy. As a mother losing her son I am already under tremendous emotional stress. Just knowing that I don't have the money to bury my son is not something that I need to endure. So please reach into your hearts and help me give my Son the proper funeral/burial that such a Strong and Wonderful Young Man like himself deserves.
