Financial support for my sister Tashanay!

Hi y’all! It’s Megan, or @ladywilsontattoo, as y’all know me as on IG. If you know me personally, then you might be aware that my life is supported and held down by my chosen family. My community, circle, and those I call my family have gone above and beyond the label of friendship over the years. One of the people I call my sister is Tashanay.
Tashy is a SF native, a social worker, a youth leader, and a queer Black femme. When we met, there was an instant connection and we quickly learned both of our lives had been impacted by similar familial traumas. We both have experienced the long term effects of incarceration on a family, inner family addiction, loss of housing and generational poverty. We’ve made a commitment to one another to always show up and SHOW OUT like family should! So I am calling on not only to Tashy’s chosen family, but also to my own, to keep this Bay Area baby fed, housed, and emotionally supported while she continues her job search. A job that will keep her safe, emotionally, financially and physically as a queer black woman.
Tashanay was waiting for a job to start and the opportunity was abruptly lost. During the pandemic, she was able to make ends meet with EDD and pandemic support. However, like many of us, she’s at the end of her savings and without an employment opportunity.
I am humbly asking for $5000 of emergency support to start, but I have faith we can surpass that! I would like to raise that amount ASAP so she can be able to pay bills, continue therapy and other healing practices.
