Support the Asylum Seekers outside the IPO

* This fundraiser was organised by Mary Martin & Lamia Tadjine of People Before Profit Dublin Bay South for the asylums seekers at the IPO. This fundraiser is not affiliated with Social Rights Ireland.

We're holding a PUB QUIZ in aid of the homeless at the IPO but understand that not all that would like to help out and donate can attend. There are currently 60+ asylum seekers sleeping rough outside the IPO whilst waiting on recognition and refugee status in Ireland. There are not only hundreds of thousand vacant homes and buildings but hundreds of vacant beds that remain empty whilst people are suffering almost freezing point conditions on the streets.

We understand that money can be tight and if you're in a position where you could afford to donate the price of a ticket, a table or more we would be extremely grateful.

We are in desperate need of coats, clothing (incl. socks & underwear), shoes, sleeping bags, tarpaulines, tents and toiletries and 100% of the funds we raise here and at our event on Tuesday the 8th March will go towards these bits.
