A local community member was violently attacked and assaulted recently in Bellingen whilst sleeping in his car. His car was also smashed and windscreen broken. While we are still in the process of finding out those responsible and holding them accountable, he needs his car fixed as soon as possible. The cost to get his car repaired is $1300 and money is tight for him, so we’re throwing a hat around to anyone that might be able to spare a few bucks to help him out.

Some of you in the community will know who he is, but we’re keeping his name off here for privacy for now while he recovers.
