Funds to enable me to stay where I have lived for 25 years.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me so far. I have paid the visa company, who is Government, a little over 1,000 UK pounds.

I also had to pay 1,412.00 pounds to cancel my old EID, even though it had expired. My rent is now paid until the end of June.

I do need to stay here for my animals, plus I do work.I live in a studio apartment with my four leggeds. They are happy as they as they are all rescues from the street. I also feed 6 or 7 cats from the shelter who have been relocated to the village where I live. I need to raise the funds urgently now, they say by the 10th June. Please do help me if you can, I would not ask if it was not urgent . Thank you very much

Hi, my name is Diane, and I have lived in Dubai and now Ras Al Khaimah for nearly 25 years. Its the only place I call home. But right now I am facing the biggest crisis of my life.

Unless I can raise funds within the next few days, , I won't be able to renew my visa. Some funds have been raised already, and deposited with the visa company. A court case is on the horizen and if I do not act fast, I could lose not just my legal right to remain here, but my home my income and the 12 rescue cats I care for.

I work hard on a commission only role. I'm proud to still be working at my age, but these past months have been especially tough, and commissions have been scarce. I have fallen behind on rent while trying to keep up with other basic expenses - and now I urgently need to raise money for my visa renewal, or face fines and forced removal from the only home I have ever known here. I am not asking for luxuries. I am simply trying to hold on to a life I've built with love, care and resilience.

Alongside trying to keep myself afloat, I care for 12 rescue cats in my home - and 7 more strays who wait for me daily in the car park. They depend on me, if I am evicted they'll be out on the streets. For many of them, this is their only chance of safety and comfort.

This isn't just about me. It's about staying, safe, staying legal, keeping a roof over my head and continuing to care for the animals who have no one else.
