My name is Shayaan Makki and I am a part of a team, working with Pratham Arora and Samantha Filchuk, at East Brunswick Churchill Junior High School that is raising money for the nearby East Brunswick Children's Specialized Hosptial. We are hoping to reach our goal of $3,000 at the end of May.
In our honors history class, our teacher assigned us a project known as the 20 Time Project. This assignment first began when the company, Google, told their employees that they could take some time off from their regular job and work on any project they desire. For our project, we decided to help raise money to East Brunswick's Children's Specialized Hospital. We began our campaign in December and want to raise as much as money as we can on platforms such as on gofundme so we could help those in need.
Children’s Specialized Hospital is the nation’s leading provider of inpatient and outpatient care for children from birth to 21 years of age facing special health challenges — from chronic illnesses and complex physical disabilities like the brain and spinal cord injuries, to developmental and behavioral issues like autism and mental health. At 13 different New Jersey locations, our pediatric specialists partner with families to make our many innovative therapies and medical treatments more personalized and effective so each child can reach their full potential.
