funds to continue my college education

My name is Sofia Gonzalez. I am a first-generation American and student from the Bronx, New York, and I need some help in continuing my college education.
I am currently a third-year student at George Washington University where I am majoring in Gender Studies and on track to attend law school after graduation. Due to my financial situation, I have had to pay for college almost entirely through student loans, putting me in an anxiety-inducing amount of debt.
Now, I have an outstanding balance of $11,900 from taking a few summer courses. I had applied for a loan to cover this during the summer, only to find out months later that GW would not process it. Until the balance is covered, my school will not let me register for classes, which begin in one week.
If I don't come up with the money somehow, I will be forced to take a leave of absence from the school I love. This will set me completely off track in reaching my goals of being the first in my family to earn a college degree. On top of that, my family has suffered financially during the pandemic, making me all the more determined to complete my education and get a job that will allow me to support my loved ones.
Chipping in just a dollar or two, or giving this a share would mean the absolute world to me. I want to dedicate my career to helping and supporting others, but I can't do it well without my degree.
These times have shown us how important it is that we all care for one another, and I would be eternally grateful to anyone who extends such generosity to me.
