Hi as many of you know I’ve suffered with M.E for many years, which I managed personally as best as I can. But I have had since three Covid infections since the pandemic which have caused new and exacerbated old symptoms and conditions.
One of the newer diagnosises I have recieved after a skin punch biopsy to investigate, is small fibre neuropathy. This is really effecting the senses in my hands and feet alongside other areas, it is effecting my bladder and urinary continence alongside various autonomic symptoms. There is no real ability to access treatment for small fibre neuropathy through the nhs. Treatment where accessible is out of pocket privately, usually a variety of immunotherapies are considered as options. These treatments are extremely expensive and I haven’t been able to work since 2023. These potential treatments could give me some quality of life and a means to move forward. I also have to leave my accommodation due to rising damp and mould, with remediation work starting soon.Anything given would be hugely appreciated!
